The Community Garden here at Links is taking shape. Both Carers Trust and Links have been working collaboratively on the shared space. We are growing sweetcorn, beans and tomatoes as well as a range of flowers and shrubs. Come and check it out!
Threds Of Red Project
We have been busy at Links sewing reusable sanitary products for disadvantaged girls and women in Cambodia. Our goal is to make 600 before November. Claire (The Links Director) will then be taking them to Cambodia as part of the 'Threds Of Red' organisation. Join us every Thursday or Friday to help :)
Out and About
Links have had stalls in various events over the summer. These have been a great way of raising awareness about mental health in the community and also a great opportunity to show off the beautiful creations made by members here at Links. If you see us out and about, come and say 'Hi!'
British Bird Photography Success
Member Stephen Thomas has been capturing some wonderful shots at 'The British Bird Of Prey Centre' in The Botanical Gardens. With the support of Links, the photos have been edited in sessions , printed and framed. His amazing shots are for sell all year round in the gift shop. So far, there has already been 56 purchases so far! Amazing achievement!
