Joined Up Linking (JUL) Officially Launched

Llanelli Drill Hall was the venue for the launch of Joined UP Linking and it was a great event with over 300 people attending, including, Nia Griffith MP, Robin Lewis, Lord Lieutenant for Dyfed and LINKS Patron Patrick Mansel Lewis along with members of the public who wanted to find out more about the new project. The event was hosted by JUL Patron Lt General Jon Riley. There was a carousel of information stalls but the highlight of the event was undeniable Pentip V.A.Church in Wales School Choir, who quite simply stole the show with a medley of songs from World War I.

Joined Up Linking/Uno Cysylltiedig is a support service for ex-forces men and women who suffer with mental health issues and offers

  • A safe and non-discriminatory environment to meet with others who understand issues faced on a day to day basis.
  • Helps with stepping stones to recovery and integration to adjust to civilian life.

Listen to JUL Members Charles and Mark here speaking about their experiences. Radio Wales Broadcast Live from the Launch.
